The Diamond Jubilee and The Art of Sport
Celebrating 2012 is an exciting way to commemorate the unique events taking place in 2012, while following National Curriculum and QCA guide lines.
The project culminates in pupils producing an original celebratory artwork that APFS transform into a unique memorabilia mug. Using a dye sublimation process each child's design is applied to the outside of a high quality ceramic mug. Our new dye sublimation process ensures a more vivid and detailed finish which is microwave and dishwasher friendly, meaning that this keepsake can be treasured for a lifetime.
New for 2012
For the first time ever, APFS will be offering two different sized mugs for parents to order: a coffee mug and a smaller child's mug.
A 32 page resource will also be available free of charge for all teachers taking part in this project. The cross curricular booklet will contain ideas for how your school can join in the celebrations whilst following National Curriculum guidelines.

Every mug purchased raises money for your school. The suggested fundraising price can be adjusted by the school to increase the amount raised.

The project process
What you need to do…
- Request a FREE, no obligation Celebrating 2012 sample brochure
- Complete and return the enclosed order form to receive a FREE Project Pack containing everything you need to administer the project.
Then…
- Kids have a great time creating their commemorative designs. They take them home to their parents along with an order form and letter. Parents return the artwork with the payment, and the school despatches it to us by FREE courier.
- By an agreed date, which will usually represent approximately a two week turnaround, the finished mugs and the original artworks are returned to School, ready for easy distribution.
